Linux kernel headers pose no security risk in containers
published 1 year ago
Summary
The Linux kernel header package only contains files needed to build software, not runnable code. Since containers share the host's core operating system and these header files cannot be executed, kernel flaws do not threaten the container itself. Just keep the host system updated; no extra action is required for the header package.
What to do
- Update echo linux to version 6.12.37-1.
