Red Hat Unbound may allow remote code execution
published 24 days ago
Summary
The Unbound DNS resolver and its libraries in Red Hat can be tricked into running malicious code. This could let an attacker take control of the server hosting the service. Apply the latest Red Hat security update for Unbound and Unbound-libs as soon as possible.
What to do
- Update redhat unbound to version 0:1.16.2-19.el9_6.2.
- Update redhat unbound-libs to version 0:1.16.2-19.el9_6.2.
