Google Chrome on Windows may let attackers escape sandbox

published 5 months ago
Summary

Chrome versions for Windows released before 149.0.7827.53 have a weakness that could let a hacker who already controls a web page break out of Chrome's built-in protection. By delivering a specially crafted web page, the attacker could run code on the user's computer. Updating Chrome to the latest version fixes the problem, so be sure all Windows computers run the newest release.
