Linux kernel headers do not affect container security
published 1 year ago
Summary
The package only contains header files, not executable code, so any kernel flaws do not impact containers that run on a separate host kernel. Because containers share the host's kernel, these header files are irrelevant to their safety. No special steps are required beyond normal system updates.
What to do
- Update echo linux to version 6.11.7-1.
