redhat python-virtualenv could run malicious code
published 1 year ago
Summary
The python-virtualenv package provided by Red Hat can be manipulated to execute unwanted code on a system. This could let an attacker run commands with the same rights as the user running virtualenv. Update the package to the latest version as soon as possible to close the gap.
What to do
- Update redhat python-virtualenv to version 0:15.1.0-7.el7_9.1.
