PostgreSQL can expose small memory fragments

published 2 months ago
Summary

Certain older versions of PostgreSQL may let a user who can run queries see a tiny piece of the server's memory (4 bytes) through a specially crafted request. This could allow an attacker to gather information about the system. Upgrade to the latest PostgreSQL release or apply the vendor's security patch to close the issue.
