echo/linux header files could affect host kernel
published 1 year ago
Summary
The echo/linux package only supplies development header files, so it does not run code inside containers. Risks arise only if those headers are used to compile software that runs on the host, where kernel flaws could be exploited. Keep the host system up‑to‑date and compile only trusted code.
What to do
- Update echo linux to version 6.9.11-1.
