Google Chrome <148.0.7778.216 may let sandbox escape
published 5 months ago
Summary
Versions of Google Chrome older than 148.0.7778.216 contain a coding error that could let a malicious web page break out of Chrome's isolation layer if the attacker already controls part of the browser. This could allow the attacker to run code on the computer with the same rights as the user. Update Chrome to the latest version as soon as possible to close the gap.
