LibreOffice can be tricked to accept forged document signatures
published 4 days ago
Summary
LibreOffice may be fooled into treating a self‑signed ODF file as if it were properly signed, even after the signature is altered. This lets an attacker change the contents of a document without the recipient noticing. Install the latest LibreOffice updates or apply the vendor’s patch and verify signatures with a trusted source.
What to do
- Update cleanstart libreoffice to version 7.2.2.2-r0.
