CVE-2026-97164 · published 1 month ago
Summary

If someone with a valid Joomla account uses the Event Gallery extension (versions before 6.5.0), they can trigger a cache‑clearing function that removes any directory the web server can write to. This could lead to loss of important files or website content. Upgrade the extension to version 6.5.0 or later, and limit write permissions on the server to only necessary folders.
