CVE-2026-92984: HUBzero CMS lets attackers hijack user sessions

CVE-2026-92984 · published 16 days ago
Summary

The HUBzero CMS platform can accept session IDs from the web address instead of only from secure cookies. This lets an attacker create a link with a known session ID, send it to a user, and then take over the user’s account after they log in. Update to the latest version of HUBzero CMS or apply the provided patch to require cookies for session handling.
