CVE-2026-92749: SafeLine 9.4.1 lets attackers forge admin sessions
CVE-2026-92749 · published 24 days ago
Summary
SafeLine versions up to 9.4.1 create the secret used to sign admin session cookies with a predictable random generator. An unauthenticated attacker who knows roughly when the software was installed can recreate this secret and craft a valid admin cookie, giving them control of the management console. Upgrade to a patched version or apply the vendor's recommended configuration fix to use a strong, unpredictable secret.
What to do
The CVE record does not list a fixed version. Check the vendor's site or the advisory links below - a fix may already be released.

Original advisory text
SafeLine through 9.4.1 Authentication Bypass via Weak Session Secret
SafeLine through 9.4.1 derives the management console session-signing secret from a time-seeded math/rand generator, allowing attackers to reconstruct the key offline. Unauthenticated remote attackers who can bound the install timestamp can regenerate the secret and forge valid administrator session cookies to gain control of protected sites.
