CVE-2026-86706: Quick Quotes plugin lets anyone change site settings

CVE-2026-86706 · published 2 days ago
Summary

The Quick Quotes add‑on for WordPress up to version 1.0.0 lets anyone on the internet send a special request that changes the plugin’s configuration. Because the request isn’t checked for permission, an unauthenticated user could modify important site options and potentially cause the site to stop working. Update the plugin to a newer version or remove it until the vendor releases a fix.

What to do

The CVE record does not list a fixed version. Check the vendor's site or the advisory links below - a fix may already be released.
