Summary

The Oracle Forms component in Oracle Fusion Middleware (versions 12.2.1.19.0 and 14.1.2.0.0) can be accessed over the network and allow a privileged user to gain full control of the system. This could let an attacker view, change, or disrupt the applications that rely on Oracle Forms. Apply the vendor’s security update or patch as soon as possible and restrict network access to the Forms service.

Vulnerability in the Oracle Forms product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Forms Services, C/S, Charmode). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.19.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Forms. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Forms, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Forms.
