CVE-2026-73695 · published 2 days ago
Summary

Versions of Control Web Panel before 1.16 let a remote user trick the system into loading any local PHP file by inserting special characters into a request parameter. This can let an attacker run their own code on the server, potentially compromising the whole panel. Update the panel to version 1.16 or later, or apply a patch that validates the file name before including it.

Control Web Panel (CWP) before webpanel_version 1.16 contains a path traversal vulnerability in services/users/index.php that allows attackers to include arbitrary local PHP files by supplying an unsanitized module name parameter concatenated directly into an include path. Attackers can inject directory traversal sequences into the module name to achieve local file inclusion and execute arbitrary PHP code in the user panel context.
