Summary
Switches running Arista EOS with the gNPSI feature turned on can be accessed by anyone on the network. An attacker could send a specially crafted message that runs code on the switch and gives them full administrative rights. Apply the latest Arista software update and disable gNPSI unless it is required for your operations.

Under certain circumstances, an unauthenticated gNPSI client can craft a malicious request to allow arbitrary code execution, granting an attacker full administrative control over the compromised switch.
