CVE-2026-63149: Omnispace Agora Project passwords can be guessed
CVE-2026-63149 · published today
Summary
Versions of Omnispace Agora Project before 26.10.0 create temporary passwords using a method that is based on the server's clock. Because the password generation can be predicted when the account creation time is known, an attacker could compute the password and take over the new account. Update the software to version 26.10.0 or later, or replace the password‑generation function with a truly random method.

Omnispace Agora Project before 26.10.0 contains an insecure randomness vulnerability that allows attackers to predict temporary or default account passwords generated by Txt::defaultPassword() using PHP's uniqid() function based on server time in microseconds. Attackers who observe or approximate the account creation time can compute the predictable password and take over the account before the legitimate user logs in.
