CVE-2026-4527: GitLab can let attackers add fake Jira subscriptions
CVE-2026-4527 · published 5 months ago
Summary
All supported versions of GitLab Community and Enterprise may let someone who is not logged in create unwanted Jira subscription entries for a user simply by visiting a crafted link. This could give an attacker unwanted visibility into your project tracking or generate unwanted notifications. Update GitLab to the latest release or apply the provided security patch as soon as possible.

Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in GitLab
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 11.10 before 18.9.7, 18.10 before 18.10.6, and 18.11 before 18.11.3 that could have allowed an unauthenticated user to create unauthorized Jira subscriptions for a targeted user's namespace via a specially crafted link due to missing CSRF protection.
