Summary

The AIX operating system versions 7.2 and 7.3, and the PowerVM VIOS version 4.1, contain a coding mistake that could let someone with access to the machine run any program they choose. This could let an attacker take control of the server or disrupt its operation. Apply the latest IBM security updates to these products as soon as possible.
