CVE-2026-114089 · published 15 days ago
Summary

The command‑line tool for Trigger.dev (versions before 4.5.2) can create a personal access token without the user's permission. An attacker can trick a logged‑in user into visiting a special link, then capture the token and gain full control of the user's account. Update to the latest version of Trigger.dev or stop using the affected CLI until it is patched.

Trigger.dev before 4.5.2 CLI Auth-Code Phishing Leading to PAT Takeover
Trigger.dev before 4.5.2 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability in the CLI authorization-code flow because loading /account/authorization-code/<code> mints a Personal Access Token without any consent step. Attackers mint an unauthenticated code, lure a logged-in user to that URL, then retrieve the victim's PAT from the unauthenticated /api/v1/token endpoint to take over the account.
