CVE-2026-110215: Youlaitech Youlai-Boot up to 2.21.1 lets users gain admin rights

CVE-2026-110215 · published today
Summary

The Youlai-Boot application (versions up to 2.21.1) lets any logged‑in user change menu and button permissions for a role, which can be used to give themselves full administrator access. This means a low‑privilege account could take control of the system and perform any action. Apply the vendor’s update or patch, and limit who can modify role permissions until the fix is in place.

Original advisory text
youlai-boot through 2.21.1 Missing Authorization in Role Menu Assignment Allows Privilege Escalation
youlai-boot through 2.21.1 contains a missing authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated users to assign arbitrary menu and button permissions to roles via PUT /api/v1/roles/{roleId}/menus. Low-privileged users such as the GUEST test account can grant all permissions to their own role, refreshing the Redis permission cache to gain administrator-equivalent access.
