CVE-2026-110112: Dockhand before 1.0.50 lets other tenant admins become admins

CVE-2026-110112 · published 3 days ago
Summary

Dockhand versions earlier than 1.0.50 do not properly check key parts of the login token, so a user who is an administrator in a different tenant (for example, another Microsoft Entra ID customer) can impersonate a Dockhand administrator. This could give them full control over your Dockhand deployment. Upgrade Dockhand to version 1.0.50 or later, or apply the vendor's patch that adds proper token validation.

Original advisory text
Dockhand before 1.0.50 OIDC Privilege Escalation via Missing Token Claim Validation
Dockhand before 1.0.50 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows users from another tenant to gain admin access because OIDC iss, aud, nonce and exp claims are not validated. Attackers with admin rights in another tenant of a shared provider like Microsoft Entra ID can recreate the mapped admin group and log in as Dockhand administrators.
