CVE-2026-109617: Frappe ERPNext lets low‑privilege users add unauthorized records

CVE-2026-109617 · published 23 days ago
Summary

In versions of Frappe ERPNext prior to 15.121.0 and 16.34.0, some web pages that create new records do not check whether the user is allowed to do so. A user with a basic account could create entries that should be limited to higher‑level roles, potentially corrupting data or exposing sensitive information. Update ERPNext to the latest version or apply the vendor's patch to restore proper permission checks.
