CVE-2026-108914: Edimax BR-6208AC allows remote takeover via Wi‑Fi survey
CVE-2026-108914 · published 6 days ago
Summary
The BR-6208AC router has a coding mistake in a Wi‑Fi survey feature that can be abused to overflow memory and let a distant attacker run their own code on the device. Because the product is no longer supported, no fix will be released, so the safest step is to remove the router from any network that handles sensitive data or replace it with a supported model. If it must stay in use, restrict inbound traffic and place it on a separate network segment.
