CVE-2026-108852: Deep Chat 2.5.1 lets malicious links run code

CVE-2026-108852 · published 7 days ago
Summary

The Deep Chat version 2.5.1 web interface does not properly check links written in Markdown, so an attacker can insert a link that runs JavaScript when someone clicks it. This can happen in AI responses, user messages, or imported conversation history, potentially giving the attacker control over the page you are viewing. Update to a patched version or apply a filter that blocks JavaScript links to protect your users.
