CVE-2026-106037: Mooncake lets anyone read or change stored data

CVE-2026-106037 · published 4 days ago
Summary

The Mooncake component runs a web service that anyone on the network can reach because it does not require a login. Attackers could view, add, delete or replace the data the service stores, exposing sensitive information or corrupting operations. Fix it by installing a version that requires authentication and by limiting network access to the service with firewalls or other access controls.
