CVE-2026-105080: ConvertX could run malicious recipe files via Calibre
CVE-2026-105080 · published 16 days ago
Summary
Versions of ConvertX before 0.19 allow special recipe files to be sent to Calibre's ebook-convert tool without checking them. If an attacker supplies a crafted .recipe or .downloaded_recipe file, it can cause unwanted code to run on the system. Upgrade ConvertX to version 0.19 or later to stop this behavior.
