CVE-2025-31801: MX Time Zone Clocks may run attacker code

CVE-2025-31801 · published 1 year ago
Summary

The MX Time Zone Clocks widget does not properly clean data it receives, so a specially crafted link can cause a visitor’s browser to execute unwanted code. An attacker could use this to steal information or hijack a user’s session when they view the clock. Install the latest version (newer than 5.1.1) or apply the vendor’s patch to fix the problem.
