CVE-2025-22532: Simple Photo Sphere may let attackers inject malicious code

CVE-2025-22532 · published 1 year ago
Summary

The Simple Photo Sphere plugin (versions up to 0.0.10) does not properly clean data that users can enter when it creates web pages. An attacker could embed hidden script code in a photo description or comment, and that code would run in the browsers of anyone who views the page, potentially stealing login information or performing actions as that user. Update to the latest version or remove the plugin until a fix is available, and make sure any user‑entered text is screened before it is displayed.
