CVE-2024-56210: Userpro lets attackers inject malicious web content

CVE-2024-56210 · published 1 year ago
Summary

The Userpro plugin for WordPress does not properly clean data that it displays on web pages. An attacker could craft a link that, when clicked, runs unwanted code in the visitor’s browser, potentially stealing information or hijacking the session. Update Userpro to a version newer than 5.1.9 or apply the vendor’s patch, and consider using a web‑application firewall to block suspicious inputs.
