CVE-2024-49653: Portfolleo allows uploading web shell to server

CVE-2024-49653 · published 2 years ago
Summary

Portfolleo versions up to 1.2 let anyone upload files that can contain malicious code, such as a web shell. An attacker could place a web shell on the web server and then execute commands or steal data. Update to a newer version, limit the types of files that can be uploaded, and consider adding server‑side checks or a web application firewall to block such uploads.
