CVE-2022-26962: Italtel NFV 11.1.2 lets attackers run scripts in announcements

CVE-2022-26962 · published 1 month ago
Summary

The web interface of Italtel NFV version 11.1.2 lets a user who can add or edit announcements insert harmful code that runs in the browser of anyone who later views the page. This means an attacker could make the system display unwanted messages, steal login information, or perform actions as the logged‑in user. Install the vendor’s update or ensure that all announcement fields are properly cleaned to remove script code.
