CVE-2019-12938: Analogic Poste.io 2.1.6 webmail logs readable with nginx
CVE-2019-12938 · published 7 years ago
Summary
The Roundcube part of Analogic Poste.io version 2.1.6 relies on an Apache‑only .htaccess file to lock down its logs folder. When the system runs behind an nginx web server, that protection does not work, allowing anyone who can reach the webmail/logs/sendmail URL to view the log files. Switch the server to Apache or add proper nginx rules to block access to the logs folder.
