CVE-2019-11292: Pivotal Ops Manager logs credentials in access logs

CVE-2019-11292 · published 6 years ago
Summary

Versions of Pivotal Ops Manager before the latest patches record every URL query string in the Tomcat server’s access log. If those queries contain usernames or passwords, the sensitive data is written to a log file that could be read by anyone with access. Update to the newest version or change the logging configuration to stop recording query parameters.
