CVE-2019-10105: CMS Made Simple lets attackers run scripts via template name

CVE-2019-10105 · published 7 years ago
Summary

The Layout Design Manager’s “Name” field in CMS Made Simple version 2.2.10 can be tricked into executing code that a user pastes into the field. If exploited, an attacker could cause a logged‑in administrator to run unwanted commands in their browser, potentially stealing data or changing settings. Update to a newer version or restrict access to the design manager to trusted users.
