CVE-2019-0277: SAP HANA XSA lets privileged developer read XML data

CVE-2019-0277 · published 7 years ago
Summary

When a developer who already has access to the SAP HANA XSA environment uploads an XML file, the system does not check the file carefully enough. This can cause the server to read other internal files or network resources, potentially exposing sensitive information. Apply the latest SAP security update and configure the system to disable unsafe XML features or limit who can upload XML files.
