CVE-2018-6190: Netis WF2419 router lets attackers inject script

CVE-2018-6190 · published 8 years ago
Summary

The web management page on Netis WF2419 routers does not properly check the text entered in the Description field of the MAC Filtering screen. An attacker who can reach that page could insert code that runs in the browser of anyone who later views the page, potentially stealing credentials or performing unwanted actions. Apply the latest firmware update from Netis or restrict access to the router’s admin interface to trusted users.
