CVE-2018-20371: PhotoRange Photo Vault 1.2 exposes password in URL

CVE-2018-20371 · published 7 years ago
Summary

The PhotoRange Photo Vault 1.2 application adds the user password to the web address when authorizing a request. This makes it easy for an attacker to guess the password by trying many URLs and gain access without proper login. Update the software or reconfigure it so passwords are not included in URLs, and use strong, unique passwords.
