CVE-2018-11719: Xovis PC2, PC2R, and PC3 devices may expose internal files

CVE-2018-11719 · published 8 years ago
Summary

The firmware used in Xovis PC2, PC2R, and PC3 devices (up to version 3.6.0) can be tricked into processing specially crafted data, causing the device to read and reveal files it shouldn't. This could let an attacker learn confidential information or manipulate the system. Update the device firmware to the latest version released by Xovis and limit exposure of the device to untrusted data inputs.
