CVE-2018-11275: Google Android flashing may expose data

CVE-2018-11275 · published 8 years ago
Summary

When a device running Google Android is updated using the standard flashing tool, a mismatch between the file size and the expected block size can cause some information to be unintentionally revealed. This could let an attacker see parts of the device’s memory. Apply the latest software updates from Google or use only properly sized images to prevent the issue.
