CVE-2017-7729: iSmartAlarm CubeOne firmware sends key cleartext, enabling unauthorized access
CVE-2017-7729 · published 9 years ago
Summary
The CubeOne alarm controller transmits a newly generated encryption key without protecting it, so an attacker on the same network could capture the key and gain control of the device. This could let someone disable or bypass the alarm system. Update the firmware to the latest version that encrypts the key or restrict network access to trusted devices.
