CVE-2017-2506: Apple Safari and iOS can be made to crash or run unwanted code

CVE-2017-2506 · published 9 years ago
Summary

Web pages viewed in Safari on iOS versions before 10.3.2 or Safari before 10.1.1 can cause the app to stop working or let an attacker run unwanted programs on the device. This happens because a flaw in the WebKit component mishandles specially crafted web content. Update the device to iOS 10.3.2 or later and Safari to version 10.1.1 or later to remove the risk.
