CVE-2017-2278: RBB SPEED TEST App lets attackers see data

CVE-2017-2278 · published 9 years ago
Summary

The Android versions up to 2.0.3 and iOS versions up to 2.1.0 of the RBB SPEED TEST App do not properly check the security certificates of the servers they connect to. This means a malicious person could pretend to be a legitimate server and capture any information the app sends or receives. Install the latest version of the app, which includes proper certificate checking, or stop using the app until it is updated.
