CVE-2017-17327 · published 8 years ago
Summary

Huawei smartphones that run the MHA-AL00AC00B125 firmware may mishandle a system resource when the device registers itself. If a user with administrator-level (root) access installs a specially crafted app, the problem could make some phone services stop working. To protect your devices, avoid installing unknown apps, especially on phones with root access, and apply any firmware updates that Huawei releases.
