CVE-2017-15200: Kanboard lets logged‑in user add tasks to others' private projects

CVE-2017-15200 · published 9 years ago
Summary

In Kanboard versions before 1.0.47, a user who is already signed in can modify the data they send to the server and create a new task inside a private project that belongs to someone else. This could let an attacker place unwanted or misleading work items where they should not appear, potentially causing confusion or misuse of project resources. Upgrade to version 1.0.47 or later, or apply the vendor’s patch, to stop the unauthorized task creation.
