CVE-2017-12123: Moxa EDR-810 web and telnet send passwords in clear text
CVE-2017-12123 · published 8 years ago
Summary
The firmware for the Moxa EDR-810 device sends the administrator password unencrypted when you use its web interface or telnet access. Because the password travels in clear text, anyone who can monitor network traffic could read it and then log in as the administrator. Update the device firmware to a version that encrypts passwords, or disable remote access methods until the fix is applied.
