CVE-2017-1002026: Event Espresso Free can let attackers change database
CVE-2017-1002026 · published 9 years ago
Summary
The Event Espresso Free WordPress plugin does not clean the data it receives when editing an event category, so a malicious user could send specially crafted input that alters the website's database. This could allow unauthorized changes to event information or other stored data. Update the plugin to the latest version or apply a patch that validates and escapes all inputs.
