CVE-2016-5687 · published 9 years ago
Summary

ImageMagick versions before 6.9.4-3 and 7.0.1-4 can be sent a specially made DDS image that makes the software read data outside its intended memory area. This could let an attacker disrupt the program or potentially execute code. Update ImageMagick to the latest version or apply the vendor's patch to stop the issue.
