CVE-2016-3141: PHP before 5.5.33/5.6.19 may crash on crafted XML

CVE-2016-3141 · published 10 years ago
Summary

The PHP software versions earlier than 5.5.33 and 5.6.19 have a flaw in its WDDX component that can be triggered by specially crafted XML data. When an attacker sends this data, the program can become unstable and stop working, potentially disrupting your web applications. Updating PHP to the latest release or disabling the WDDX extension removes the risk.
