CVE-2016-2881: IBM QRadar SIEM lets remote users skip access checks
CVE-2016-2881 · published 9 years ago
Summary
Versions of IBM QRadar SIEM 7.1 (before MR2 Patch 13) and 7.2 (before 7.2.7), as well as QRadar Incident Forensics 7.2 (before 7.2.7), can be tricked by a specially crafted request to bypass the normal access controls. This could let an attacker reach functions they should not see, potentially exposing sensitive data. Apply the latest patches from IBM as soon as possible to close the gap.
